Rediscover the Joy of Nature

I’m a self taught landscape artist with a style that explores the rich vibrant colours of nature. Grounded by my Irish roots and my natural creativity, I enjoy bringing all that is nature to the canvas. My works include mountains, lakes, oceans, trees and forests. I am also drawn to florals for their delicate and bold colours, bringing beauty to the walls of collectors. For as long as I can remember I have loved arts & crafts and connecting with the natural world. Art was a way of expressing myself and creating beauty.

I discovered Bob Ross on PBS and was intrigued by how seemingly effortless he made painting his beautiful landscapes and seascapes, and decided to approach the canvas with similar enthusiasm and joy.

Expressing myself on the canvas gives me great enjoyment which I hope is extended to the viewer. All of nature is art and I strive to bring this to my craft. I see art and vibrant colours in all that surrounds me, I go to sleep visualizing the next brushstroke and the colours I will use. New ideas live in my imagination and I can’t wait to create them on a canvas with my own hands. My preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolour, acrylic being the optimum method of choice.

These days I get to pursue my passion every day, working in my own studio and gathering inspiration from all that surrounds me- the ocean, the mountains, the forests, lakes and rivers confirming my artistic vision and staying true to myself and my craft. Daily I get inspiration from the sunsets, sunrises and the breathtaking vistas on my own doorstep. I am truly blessed to be given the opportunity to bring joy and happiness translated by paint on canvas. I invite you to explore each canvas and its story.
